ROCKY VALLEY GAME RANCH – THE LODGE

Nestled in a 1000-hectare game farm just outside the beautiful Pietermaritzburg, Rocky Valley Game Lodge is a spacious holiday farmhouse which is an ideal option for a memorable holiday as the lodge spoils with over 800 animal species.

Close to the Midlands and the Drakensberg,

This property can accommodate up to 10 guests at a time and comprises 4 en-suite bedrooms. The first 2 bedrooms are each furnished with 2 single beds, while the remaining 2 bedrooms each contain a bunk bed. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in all 4 bathrooms. All linen and bath towels are provided.

The open-plan living area features tall ceilings and a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchen is a cosy lounge with comfortable seating and a fireplace. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table which has ample seating for everyone.

Outside, there is a lovely boma with a central firepit as well as a built-in braai which is an ideal spot for a sundowner in the evening while the fire is burning. The hosts can provide breakfast, lunch and dinner at an additional cost as well as game drives for those wanting to explore the area.
