TERI-LEMVELI LODGE

Teri-Lemveli Lodge , with Hennie and Melony De Jager from Beaufort West and owners since 2016 are excited to share the tranquility of the Karoo with you!

The meaning of TERI-LEMVELI:

TERI= Terence and Ria Young and parents of the owners who initiated the lodge in 2002 and LEMVELI which means ‘heritage’ in Xhosa.

The Lodge is located in the heart of the Karoo with the Nieuveld Mountain range as backdrop. We are situated on the N1, South East of Beaufort West, and only 15km out of town.

The lodge is easily accessible, 500m from the N1 and an ideal base from which to explore the Central Karoo.

This 250-ha malaria free farm is privately owned and can accommodate 42 guests in the self-catering chalets and 22 guests in the self-catering Stable Rooms.

The view from the chalets over the beautiful Stolsriver Dam will give you some peace of mind and you can watch how wild animals and birds come drink water while you can enjoy the beautiful Karoo sunset.

You can buy real Karoo Lamb braai packs, wood, firelighters, salads ect., from our little Shop, as well as some of South Africa’s best wines, beautiful curios and logo branded items like caps, golf-shirts, and Teri-Lemveli branded clothing.

A back-up generator is used in times of Loadshedding.

Enjoy a sundowner on the deck of the main building and experience the amazing sunset of the Karoo. We are fully licenced and bar facilities are available.

Take a long walk on the farm, or just relax next to the pool. Remember to bring your mountain bike for a nice ride on the farm.

Wild animals on the farm:

Kudu,Gemsbok,Springbok (white, copper and common),Waterbuck, Giraffe,Sables and sheep.

DINING ,CONFERENCE & RESTAURANT:

Our conference room can accommodate up to 60 delegates and management will make arrangements to cater for any special event.

Our Restaurant is open for Breakfast from 07:30 till 10:00 in summer time and from 08:00 till 10:00 in winter time.

Come and sit down for a delicious Karoo Breakfast.

Fully licensed venue which can accommodate up to 60 people.

A marquee tent is available on request.
