EDUCATIONAL CAMPS:

The Bush Camp is ideal for school and youth groups to experience nature first hand.

Accommodation for the groups is on 2 large thatched platforms (dormitory style) with bunk beds and mattresses.

The platforms are fully mosquito proofed with ablutions downstairs.

Teachers sleep in comfortable thatched cottages with private bathrooms.

There is a large eating area under a thatched roof, (also used for lectures) a cosy boma, pool and big playground.

The purpose of the course is to teach the youth about conservation awareness, game farm management, identification of birds, trees, grasses and spoors, snakes and snake bite treatment as well as edible plants and berries.

We do not keep rigidly to the school syllabus, but all courses are designed to help children to have a better understanding and appreciation of their school work, by allowing them to actually experience the things they learn about at school.

We make the experience exciting including game drives, walks and lectures as well as sports activities such as volley ball, swimming and bush rounders.
